AN ART NOUVEAU ENAMEL AND MULTI GEM BUTTERFLY, BY BOUCHERON Elizabeth Taylor Collection at Christie’s I love this piece. I used to have this great dragonfly brooch that I used to redrape my oversized dashiki caftan. It was such a great dress for the summertime. I’m considering using that outfit as an inspiration for one of my Saltri pieces. I would also love to consider the shape and multi media content of the butterfly piece as inspiration for a stand alone piece that also delivers functionality. Possibly mimicking the way I utilized the dragonfly brooch.
